domain transfer from wix

    I’d like to get more information on how to transfer my website to wordpress WITHOUT continuing to renew the domain name through the company I purchased it from?

    Would I be able to delete the domain through Wix and re-establish the same domain with wordpress?

    Hey there,

    I would never recommend canceling an existing domain, as it may be difficult or impossible to recover. That said, you can certainly transfer your domain from Wix to WordPress so you can keep the domain and renew it with us! We have a great help document outlining this process here:
