Domain transfer from wordpress to namecheap still spending

  Hiya,

  I’m trying to move my domain name over to namecheap (and have set up a new site with square space) however a week on from requesting a transfer its still pending.

  I thought it would take 72hrs max to do, so my question is: is this normal? what do i need to do to complete the transfer?

  Hi there!

  According to the support guide about Transfer Domain Registration :

  Completing the transfer
  Once you initiate the transfer, there is a waiting period of five days. During this period, you will receive an email to confirm or cancel the transfer. After confirmation, the domain will be transferred within five days.

  If you need a Staff follow-up to your question, you can add a modlook tag to the right section (Tags) of this thread.

  How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question?

  I confirmed the transfer on monday so i’m guessing it will be done by end of play today?
