Domain Transfer In Progress

Hi, I am trying to get an authorization code from WordPress to transfer my domain to godaddy. I received the email, but there is no authorization code in the email.
This has been going on now for 2 weeks. I need help!!!

I’m trying to transfer my domain: kathylwheeler.com to godaddy.
I went through the directions and received an email, but there was no authorization code in the email.
Wordpress says that the transfer is in progress, but godaddy needs the auth code.Please help!

Hi @kathylwheeler! Sorry you are having trouble with your domain transfer. I know first hand how frustrating it can be. No worries though – it shouldn’t be too difficult to resolve, I hope! Take a look at this article:

About a fourth of the way down you will encounter the section on getting the EEP code (authorization code). You can also do a CTRL+F to search for EEP on your browser. Where you may have possibly encountered a problem is on removing privacy protection. If I recall correctly I made a similar mistake and experienced a similar problem on another registrar.

Please note if you do decide you need to update the address, you’ll want to be careful to avoid the transfer lock if you can. Let us know if you need help.

This is the correct domain. I did move from Oklahoma to Washington.
The domain renews in October. I had hoped to have this completed so that my website was showing the correct domain.I performed all the steps in the documents provided.
I had the email resend, but did not receive anything. And, the last time I did this, the email came but there was no authorization code in the email.The 1st email:

The “edit” link is on the domain contact information page that @supernovia linked to above, not on the transfer domain page.
However, the email should be going to the email address you provided above, as that’s the email for your domain contact info.
I’ve resent the email from our end. It will be coming from a @secureserver.net address. Please check for it.
