Domain transfer information

  I set up a new blog and bought my own domain name I purchased it on Go Daddy I wanted to use it on my new blog and I have no clue how to do this. Can anyone give me step by step directions with a domain purchase from GoDaddy?

  Hi there,

  In order to use your domain hosted elsewhere with your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Then, you’ll need to purchase the mapping subscription upgrade so that you can map your domain over to your WordPress.com site.
