Domain transfer issue

    I signed up with a .com WordPress Premium plan but realized I wanted to have more options so I cancelled my premium plan and got a wordpress.org through Bluehost. However, I registered my domain with wordpress when I signed up for the premium plan. Now I have to wait 60 days to transfer my domain to Bluehost.

    My questions are…
    1. I have tried to install a few plug ins and haven’t been able to. Is this because of my domain not being transferred yet?
    2. Will I be able to install a theme or add plug ins before the 60 days is over?

    I’d like to start working on my blog but if I can’t even install a theme or a plug in before I can transfer my domain am I just supposed to wait?

    I put all of this in the WordPress.org forum already and they told me it was a.com issue??

    While you can’t transfer your domain to Bluehost for 60 days after registration, you can point it to them and connect it to your site there immediately by changing the name servers. Please contact Bluehost support to get the correct name servers. Then you can follow these instructions to point the name servers to them.

    Where exactly did you log in? If you went to daysofdandelions.com/wp-admin, that would have taken you to your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, as the domain is currently still pointed to us.

    That link will only take you to your Bluehost site’s dashboard once you’ve properly connected the domain on their end.

    Bluehost also provides a temporary domain when you install the WordPress software with them. They should have sent you an email containing that temporary domain, a link to the login page for that site, and your admin username and password for that site. If you didn’t receive such an email, please contact Bluehost support directly for help.

    2. Will I be able to install a theme or add plug ins before the 60 days is over?

    Yes, as this has nothing to do with where your domain is registered. You just need to be logged into the correct site’s dashboard first.
