Domain transfer issues

    Hello,

    I am very frustrated with the lack of support I am getting with this issue. I previously posted here.

    That post includes a link to ANOTHER previous post. Both times I was told I would be kept “up-to-date” on everything.

    I am trying to switch the domain I purchased through wordpress.com to siteground, but I am unable to. I brought this up MONTHS ago on this forum and was impressed with he quick response, but then heard nothing.

    Hi there,

    I see in your first thread, https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domain-canceled?replies=11, you had cancelled the domain and it was since restored. I apologise if no one notified you of that. It appears that our registrar restored the domain without letting us know about it, but we could have done better at following up with you.

    Looking at the domain now, you should be able to initiate a transfer. It is currently registered to your account, but you’ll need to initiate the transfer. You can do so from this page:

    https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/rscottcarson.com/transfer/rscottcarson.com

    If you click the button on that page it should unlock the domain and email you the transfer code that you can then provide to the new registrar so they can transfer it out.
