I updated my Name Server on wordpress.com to my new site on Blue Host yesterday. Even after 12 hours its still not pointing to the new site instead its still showing the wordpress.com site.
How long does this take usually?

I see that your domain is pointing to a Bluehost hosted site. If you’re not seeing that, please clear your browser’s cache and try again.

No its not updated, I am seeing the same thing past 24 hours. I am only seeing my old website hosted on wordpress.com and not the new one on Blue Host.
Also how long does it take for the Domain Transfer Lock / Unlock not working to get resolved?

Hi there,
Your domain is definitely pointed to Bluehost, and it’s loading you Bluehost site for me.
If it’s not loading the Bluehost site for you, please try clearing you browser cache. Your browser is most likely automatically directing you to where it remembers the domain used to point, instead of checking where it’s pointed now.
We’re not sure why we’re unable to unlock you domain. It appears to be an issue on our domain provider’s end, and we’re currently waiting for them to get back to us about this. Once we know more we’ll let you know, but I’m not able to tell you how long that might take – our domain provider is supposed to respond to any requests from us within 48 hours, but that doesn’t always happen.

I have cleared the cache and it’s loading the same wordpress.com design. I have cross-checked with others also. Is there anyway u can share screen shot of what you are seeing?

For me, the domain is forwarding to https://ibp.ifx.mybluehostin.me/
When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may not be available, may go to its old location, or you may receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 24 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache: https://www.refreshyourcache.com/
If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

Our Domains team has informed me that the domain has been unlocked and you can now initiate the transfer.
