Domain transfer not complete

  I transferred my .org domain to GoDaddy using the key provided. I had confirmation from both that transfer to new registrar was complete. However, the domain is still active in wordpress.com and on the web.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there!

  You don’t have domain registration at WordPress.com anymore, but you do still have domain mapping setup for noisenuisance.org. If you’d like to cancel this, you can do so at Store → My Upgrades. Click Cancel to rid yourself of the domain mapping between your custom domain and your WordPress.com site.

  What you mentioned above is a subscription for domain mapping, not domain registration. I am happy to cancel this for you, if you’d like.

  As you can see, GoDaddy is your domain registrar:
  http://who.is/whois/noisenuisance.org

  If you give me permission I can disconnect the domain mapping from your site, however, you’ll still need to change your domain name servers at GoDaddy so they no longer point to WordPress.com. It is the name server settings at GoDaddy which are not allowing your domain to work with your self-hosted site.
