Domain transfer not propogating

I am having trouble transferring control of my domain from wordpress to my new host. I’ve changed the nameservers from wordpress to my new host, but when I attempt to visit my site I am being directed back to wordpress. I’ve also unlocked the domain. What else do I need to do to transfer ownership of the domain?

it takes 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet – changes usually start after a few hours, due to caching issues you will be the last to see the changes
How long since you changed the name servers?

Thanks for the speedy response. Its only been a few hours since I changed the name servers. Its not important that the domain transfer happens this very second, only that I am able to work on building the new site ASAP. I’ll try to find a way to work on the website locally before the changes propagate!

It looks like the DNS changes have already propagated according to the site you linked. However, the domain name pointer and the cname are coming up blank. Is there a reason that the site is still loading wordpress?
