Domain transfer – not receiving an email with the code
-
I’m trying to get the code to transfer my domain to a new host (I’m switching to wp.org from wp.com on dreamhost). I’ve followed the instructions – unlocked domain locking and disabled private registration but when I click on ’email transfer code’ I don’t get an email. (Yes, I’ve checked that the info is correct in the Domain Contacts section).

The Private Registration upgrade was still active on your account. I’ve just disabled it for you. Could you please try to request the transfer code again.
The guide below explains how to transfer the domain name to another registrar, including how to access the authorization (EPP) code:

Hi, I am having some issues with my transfer still, I continue to not receive the email with the code, so I decided to temporarily change the name servers instead, but the change doesn’t seem to save. I’m trying to change them to ns1.dreamhost.com, ns2.dreamhost.com, and ns3.dreamhost.com, but the selection keeps changing back to use wordpress servers.
Thanks for any help!

The transfer is pending, that’s why you can’t change the name server records.
I’ve just resent a confirmation e-mail. Make sure to check your Spam/Junk folder to see if the e-mail didn’t end up there. Or do a search within your e-mail client.
Looking forward to your reply.

I think I’ve resolved the issue (email address typo, oops!) Transfer is just waiting for the 5 day hold. Thanks!
