domain transfer or link domain to website
-
Hi! I have a registered domain name at one.com (ending with .nl) and I created a new wordpress website. Is the best solution to transfer the domain to wordpress or to link it by mapping it? Which solution has 100% success rate? Thanks in advance
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well both of them works with 100% success rate if you follow all the steps correctly. But they might take some time(24 hours or less) to update.
If you already own a domain name however, the best way to go with is “domain mapping”.
Follow the instructions given here to use a domain already owned by you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
NOTE: You will need an upgraded WordPress.com Plan in order to map your existing domain. Go to My Sites -> Plan to do so.
Hope this helps :)

Hi there,
If you want to use a domain registered elsewhere with your WordPress.com site you have to map as incoming domain transfers are not allowed at the moment.
To map a domain you’ll need an upgraded WordPress.com plan. You can read more here:

Hello,
Is the best solution to transfer the domain to wordpress
We don’t currently support incoming domain transfers. As otpidusprime and fstat have mentioned, you will need to use Domain Mapping instead.
You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan, such as the Personal plan. Each paid plan includes a free domain credit which you can use to map a domain you already own (or register a new one).
Come back to me if you have any questions.

We want to use our primary domain.com/www.domain.com for our wordpress-site.
But we use a lot subdomains which are automatically created and edited as they move around in our container/VS-infrastructure and updated through the Gandi.net API.
How do we handle that?
