Domain Transfer pending transfer 5 days and counting

  Hello,

  We followed the domain transfer process as outlined by wordpress.com

  We are now past the 5 day waiting period and it still hasn’t transferred to our new registrar.

  Is there anything that can be done to speed up the process?

  There has also been no follow up with a email to support.

  Hi @jbender2013, it’s about 5 days from when you accept the transfer. I can’t tell from this end whether you’ve done that yet, so can you check your email to see if you can find the transfer authorization?

  Thank you for the response supernovia.

  All steps were completed as shown on https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/

  Our registrar namesilo accepted the authorization code and shows “Pending at Registry” which is currently wordpress.com

  It’s been at this state for over 5 days now.

  Usually this process is much quicker with other registrars. So, figured it got caught somewhere.

  That is correct. Every step was completed over 5 days ago.

  By the way, you do still have a site active at https://canadianportfoliomanagerblog.wordpress.com/ . You can delete it or make it private at https://wordpress.com/settings, or feel free to use it for something else.
