domain transfer question
-
I recently created a domain name on 123reg and I’m looking to get it transferred over to the WordPress to apply to use on my page.
What is the nameserver for WordPress?
On 123reg its saying I can transfer my domain name from to 123reg to a 3rd party website.
Is WordPress a 3rd party website?
IF so, is the name server the correct information I need to do that?Any help would be great as I need to get this website as soon as possible.
Cheers,

Hey there, if you just recently created the domain there, you probably won’t be eligible to transfer it here quite yet. Usually there’s a 60 day waiting period. But yes, we would count as a third party site; and you can transfer a domain here when it’s ready.
Until then, you’d be welcome to map it here. You’ll need to follow these steps:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/Our name servers are:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comThey just won’t work unless you also map the domain, so be sure to take care of that, too.
Cheers!

Thank you for your help.
Another question:
Ive recently set up my website pages but when I go to Visit Site, it comes up with default blog page request, encouraging me to write an intro blog post.
What I want to do is have my Homepage as the first page seen when entering Visit Site so that I can add my other pages, such as About, Contact and Portfolio, on to the Homepage, like a real, professional website.
How can I bypass this default request?
How do I add the other pages, to my Homepage?Any help would be great,
Thank you

You will want to go to My Site>Design>Customize>Homepage settings and set the desired page as your homepage there. Then, you can add the rest of the pages to your menu:
