Domain Transfer Stuck ‘In Progress’

I did two domain transfers within minutes of themselves from the same registrant; however, the first one completely processed within 30 minutes and is now active after receiving a contact info confirmation email for ICANN. That also means that our old site developers received and accepted the transfer after submitting the auth codes. The second domain, which is the main domain, still hasn’t send out the approval request to our old developers. That has caused there to be no contact info verification email for ICANN to come for this, which when I verified for the first domain I noticed the status change to ‘activating’.
I realise these can take time, but the fact these were simultaneously submitted and are coming from the same location as well as there were account contact info email changes that were made during the transfer, make me think there could be an issue.
Does anyone have any recommendations other than to just wait? Is it possible or even recommended as a worst case scenario to cancel and redo the transfer? It’s Friday 5:57 PM and we are planning to fully transfer the site on Monday at 3:00AM.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a completely smooth transfer lol.
