Domain transfer to another host

  To whom it may concern,

  I wanted to find out if I could transfer my domain: bholdconsulting.com to another host and get a refund for the mapping that I purchased?

  Also is there no number I can contact you on?

  Since your domain name is so new, you can’t transfer it to a different registrar yet (the ICANN regulations that govern all domain names has a 60-day lock on transfers after initial purchase or transfer), but we can change the name servers using the instructions at the link to use it with a different service.

  Hey there,

  I actually wanted to transfer the bholdconsulting.com domain, is this possible? And yes I would like a refund on the mapping of b-hold.co.uk.

  Could I request an EPP or Transfer Authorization Code to transfer it, as I am relying on a friend to build the website for me (I do not have the knowledge of doing it) and my friend happens to not know how to use wordpress, therefore, if I cannot transfer the bholdconsulting.com domain could I get a full refund on both the mapping and domain that I purchased?

  Or alternatively could you instruct my current domain registrar to point
  bholdconsulting.com to these nameservers:
  ns1.ipage.com
  ns2.ipage.com

  Howdy,

  I’ve refunded the domain mapping for b-hold.co.uk. You should see it reflected in your payment account in the next couple of days.

  The domain can’t be transferred out yet. ICANN, the entity that sets the governing rules for all domain names, establishes that a domain can’t be transferred within 60 days of the initial registration or after a transfer to a new registrar.

  We can change the nameservers, though. For future reference, you can do so using the instructions at change name servers and accessing your dashboard at http://bholdconsulting.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  In this case, I’ve made the change for you. It can take a number of hours for the change to be effective. Since your domain name is still registered with WordPress.com, you’ll need to be sure to either transfer it to a different registrar before next year or renew it with WordPress.com to continue using it.
