    It is entirely up to you.

    If you transfer your domain here, you can manage your site and domain in the same place, and you only have to pay one provider for both services, so ultimately this is simpler and more convenient.

    But many people prefer to keep their domain and hosting separate. There are also some types of domains that cannot be transferred to us, in which case mapping is the only option, so it also depends what the domain is you want to use.
