Domain Transfer Went Wrong!

I have been playing around in wordpress under the host gator domain barnacleboysdiveservice.com for few months and build a simple but decent looking site, basically just an internet business card. I asked another business owner if we would like a website built and he liked the one i had already made, and since i wasn’t really planning on using the website i figured i could just have him get his own host gator account and domain name to just plug in to my site. we did just that, but i put the domain name in before he had confirmed the activation email and now all i can get are 404 error pages. I cant even log on to my wordpress dashboard to change it back to my domain. What went wrong? how can i get to my dash board? And will i have to rebuild the website using his domain account.

The domain barnacleboysdiveservice.com has not been registered.
Are you trying to get help for barnacleboys.wordpress.com as listed in your post, or something you have hosted on Hostgator? This forum is for support of WordPress.com hosted sites only.
