Domain Transferred on renewal date – still charged by WordPress

    Hi,

    August 13th and I transferred my domain name but have still been charged by wordpress for the year as today is the renewal date.

    Please could you issue this refund as I have already paid for the next year with Wix.

    I can confirm you have transferred your domain, so I have issued a refund for your renewal amount, which was charged in error. You can see a receipt confirming this refund here:  https://wordpress.com/me/billing

    You can expect to see the funds in your account, but it can take a billing cycle or two depending on your institution. I can confirm the refund was processed on our end, but you may also wish to contact your credit card company to confirm.
