Domain transfers within the site

    I paid to transfer WisdomOutloud.com from My lessons on the journey.com. When I go to my domain settings it is still showing wisdomoutloud.wordpress.com instead wisdomoutloud.com. I’m not sure what I’m not doing correctly. Please help!

    Hi Tara – The domain wisdomoutloud.com is registered with GoDaddy. Did you purchase it from them? If so, you can map it to your WordPress.com site by following these instructions:

    I see that you registered domain mylessonsonthejourney.com some time ago; when you changed the underlying .wordpress.com URL of your site, that does not change your registered custom domain.

    Your site is now URL wisdomoutloud.wordpress.com with domain mylessonsonthejourney.com. But if you own wisdomoutloud.com, you can map it to your same blog as described above, and then set it to primary so the other domain redirects to it.
