Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

    I couldn’t change template.

Switching themes https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#switch-themes can be easily done, provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the site. Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do a lot of work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme with different features and/or if you have done any CSS editing.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.

The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your explanation. It is not so good news that I cannot recover somehow the domain even If I was an owner of it.

I remove the page cause no matter what I do I couldn’t change template. I got info that template has been change but still I saw only old one. So I thought that If I will remove webpage and then I will recreate using the same name issue will be solved. Now I block the name and it will quite difficult to find other which will be free especially that this one I found after long time that looks quite nice and was without “blog” in link.

About the additional domains I know that I can buy but I planned to start with free and take a look about the result. So there is no chance to do anything with it?

    Thank you for any infos,

    Best regards,

You have reached a dead end. There is no recycling of deleted blog URLs for 2 years after deletion.
