Domain unavailable after cancel and refund

  Hello,

  I am building a website for a friend and I recently purchased her domain through WordPress. I accidentally purchased the domain as a subdomain to my own business website, however, and had no choice but to cancel the domain and get a refund.

  Now the domain is no longer available, even though I would still like to use it for my friend’s new website.

  The domain name is http://www.daniellelebaron.com.

  Is there any way for me to rescue this domain and map it as the primary domain for http://www.daniellelebaronblog.wordpress.com?

  Or will it come available again after a few days?
