Hi there,
You are seeing that warning message because from what I see in the whois data, the nameservers of your domain is still pointed to WordPress.com and not 1&1. You’ll need to log into your account at 1&1 and update your nameservers.
For more information on changing nameservers, please visit our support page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

How do I access the domains panel if I don’t have any sites? I have deleted the site I added to the mapped domain and now I am trying to build a new website with 1&1 wordpress.org application?

Hi,
You do not need to log into your WordPress.com account, but rather your 1&1 account to update nameservers. Everything is good to go on this end.
Are you able to access your domain panel at 1&1?

Here are instructions on how to change your nameservers at 1&1. You’ll need to contact them about what their nameservers are.
Thanks!

The domain servers are already listed as 1&1 standard servers, is there anything else that could be listing the domain with WordPress.com mapping?
-
When did you change the nameservers? The whoisdata is still stating that the nameservers are pointing to WordPress.com.

2 days ago I got 1&1 to reset the nameservers, they said 24-48 hours and its still getting the error messages!
-
Hi there,
You will need to contact 1&1 again since this is a nameserver issue and we have no control of your domain since it is registered with 1&1. It’s nearing 72 hours and there is no sign of your nameservers updating, so it does not seem like they reset them. Following the instructions I provided, you can check under your 1&1 account and see if they are pointed to WordPress.com still.
That is what I would recommend. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do any longer on our end.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
