Domain unreachable after upgrading wordpress to 6.7.1
-
In the WordPress manager, it showed that this site needed to be upgraded to the current version. I checked the box to do a full backup before doing the upgrade.
After the upgrade was complete, it provided a link to finish the upgrade, but it went to a page with the error:
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at sloanthrasher.com.
If you entered the right address, you can:
- Try again later
- Check your network connection
- Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)
I have restored the backup, but the error persists. I’ve checked the .htaccess file and the DNS settings. Still no joy!
Any help regarding where to look for the cause of the problem would be greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please note:
- The site is not a blog.
- I double checked the items in the error message – all correct
- Checked the DNS records – all correct
- Checked .htaccess – all correct
- I did restore the backup made by the upgrade.
