Domain Update

  I just want to make sure before I purchase a domain that my blog that’s already set up under a .wordpress.com name will be switched over? In other words, I’m just changing the name of my site, right? Not adding a new site?

  Yes. If you purchase a domain from WordPress.com for your existing .wordpress.com blog, the former will simply point to the later.

  Even if you purchase a domain outside of WordPress.com, you can map it to your .wordpress.com blog for $13/year.
