Domain Upgrade

    I have a domain that says it will stop functioning on February 19th. I wanted to ensure that this means I won’t be charged for the site and it will be deleted on that date. Is this true?

    Hi there!

    That’s not quite true. Your domain is not set to automatically renew, so on February 19th, the domain will expire and enter the expiration process. If you no longer want this domain, I can just cancel it for you now, which will prevent all of the expiration reminder emails from being sent to you.

    None of this will affect the existence of your site though. You can still visit your site at the WordPress.com URL leahs1.wordpress.com once the domain is expired. If you’d like to delete the site, you can follow these steps:
