Domain upgrade
-
The domain upgrade on our site was inadvertently allowed to expire (emails had not been checked) as the auto renewal did not go through.
However, when now clicking on the link in the email that states ‘renew…..’ the checkout page opens but it states ‘Woohoo! You don’t owe us anything!
Just complete checkout to add these upgrades to your site.’ and there appears a message in a red bar that states ‘Sorry, this user account does not own the product you are trying to renew’. We do still own the domain. How do we get this to renew now? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi bognorcan,
What is the name of the url that this is concerned with?
As well, I’ve added the tag ‘modlook’ to the thread to ensure that staff will look at this issue in due time.

Hi bognorcan,
‘Sorry, this user account does not own the product you are trying to renew’. We do still own the domain.
Can you confirm which domain you would like to renew? Just let me know and I can look into this for you.
Thanks!

Apologies for the delay in replying..
Thanks for the replies. The domain is https://bognorcan.org/I think a WordPress.com premium plan expired without being renewed. If it is renewed, how do we renew the domain? Thanks.

Hi there,
Your domain did not expire, just the mapping upgrade that connects it to your site with us. The mapping upgrade and Premium Plan you had have already been removed from your account, so cannot be renewed. But in this case you can get everything back the way it was by just purchasing a new plan and domain mapping.
Go to My Site ->Plans and re-purchase the Premium Plan, and then go to My Site ->Domains ->Add and add the domain via the Map It option, and everything should work again like before.
Please let me know if you need any more help with this.
