When you map to a domain you purchased elsewhere you have to renew with the domain name registrar that you purchased the domain name from.

Hi @lilythibeault, it looks like the domain itself is properly registered and pointing here, but you no longer have a mapping upgrade. We stopped offering mapping as a standalone upgrade some time ago, but you can get it in our Personal plan:
https://wordpress.com/plansThat includes domain mapping, extra space, no ads, and direct support. Once you’ve added the plan, you can head to https://wordpress.com/domains to re-map your domain.
