Domain Upgrade Adsense

  I was just wondering… I have read the information about Domain Upgrade and I still don’t get it. If you upgrade for $14, does that mean you could now add adsense on your blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, the domain upgrade is just that. It allows you to have a different domain name show on your blog here. Your blog is still hosted at wordpress.COM and still under the same TOS and the same restrictions.

  If you want advertising, you need to self-host a blog on a third-party hosting service using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  Many people don’t make what they thought they could with adsense. Unless they get thousands of hits a day, then you won’t make that much at all. People usually make more with individual sponsors.

  Each upgrade at WordPress.com applies only specifically to what it says it applies to. If it does not say “allows you to host paid ads” then you can’t do it. The ONLY upgrade that allows you to host paid ads is the VIP status which costs $600 to set up and the same per month.
