Domain upgrade/first registration was not completed

  Hello, while i tried first to registrate a domain for my blog “wortkulisse” i couldn’t finish. now i wanted to change/upgrade the domain and was told, that the domain wortkulisse.de is already registered.

  if i try to go to the adress http://www.wortkulisse.de there is no site available. so could it be, that my registration just blocked the adress? is it still available for me?
  or do i have to register anew?

  Howdy, you cannot register .de domains on WordPress.com, only .com, .net, .org and .me domain names. The good news is that you can register any available .de domain name with another registrar (like GoDaddy) and then buy a domain mapping upgrade to use it with your WordPress.com blog.
