Domain Upgrades Questions

When I attempt to log in to my website I get this warning:
Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domainEvery year I have been charged $18 for domain mapping and domain registration. This year I was not. I can’t find the option to just pay for that. Has it all been changed so I need to do the upgrade to the premium plan for $8.25/ month? Or is that a completely different thing? And if that is the case, I will need to do the upgrade for my wordpress site (_.worpress.com) vs just my .com (since that isn’t even an option)?
But if I do need to do that upgrade, Ill be able to access my .com website then, correct?
Hopefully this is a simple question and I am just confused because I only deal with it once a year. Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry but I have no idea how many threads were tagged for their help prior to this one being tagged. I don’t know what their workload is and how complex each request for support is, nor how long it will take to resolve each one.
