Domain was bought but still see wordpress in name

The domain name was purchased, but “wordpress” is still appearing as part of the domain name. How do I delete the “wordpress” part?

Are you speaking of jendahlin.com?
To set that as the primary domain on your site requires a paid plan. Without a plan that domain will redirect people to your site, but only the free address will be visible in the browser address bar.
