Domain With WordPress

    I not long ago (28 April 2020) received an email from WordPress offering to upgrade my free domain, toughtimes2020.wordpress.com to a custom domain, I have pasted the email below for your benefit:

    I have recently signed up to Webador.com which is not a very user-friendly platform and as I have ultimately used WordPress for a lot longer I am used to it and I have always found it to be a lot more common sense based and user friendly, I have just had very little time to blog until now, thanks to our lockdown. My domain with Webador is http://www.myonlinediary.net but I am not happy with it so I wish to move it over to WordPress.

    I realise it is some days into May since the email from WordPress came through. I have signed up to Patreon in a bid to help me pay for my website and I have been a member of Google AdSense since early 2017 so am wanting to add these features to my website.

    At the risk of sounding cheeky is WordPress still prepared to offer me this deal so I can move over my current domain to you?

    Hi there,

    The price on that email is still valid, you can upgrade by going to your plans page:

    https://wordpress.com/plans/

    However, if you want to use Google Ads and integrate Patreon to your WordPress.com site you’ll need to upgrade to the Business or eCommerce plan. Only those two plans will allow the installation of specific code and plugins needed for the two services you mentioned.
