Domain- WWW is not transferring?

  Hi everyone,

  I decided to cancel my bizland account in favor of wordpress. My domain name, http://www.emilycallaway.com, was registered with GoDaddy, and I’ve had the website http://www.emilycallaway.com running for years. I cancelled my bizland account today and mapped the domain to WordPress. However, with wordpress, the domain is showing as http://emilycallaway.com. When I type in the www, it directs me back to the nonfunctioning page. I called GoDaddy and they said I have to change the DNS or whatever with WordPress. Anyone know how I would do this? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

  Also, please note that WordPress.com automatically removes the “www” from all URLs. Any traffic to http://www.example.com will be redirected to example.com.http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/#before-upgrading-important-notes
