Domain/blog name issue

    So, here it goes.
I had an idea for a new blog (a great idea, in my own humble mind) – so I rushed to check if that name that I wanted was available, which it was, and then registered a blog under my current WordPress account for that blog name, so that it woudlnt’ be taken. How smart!

But then. The issue is, that I actually want to create this new blog separate from my existing WordPress account and WordPress user name. I know that this means creating a new WordPress account with a new email, which I was going to do – tailored for that new blog. However, I have now found out that even if I delete that blog I created from my current WordPress account, that URL will not become available again – for reasons I can understand – and therefore, I couldn’t use that domain name under the new wordpress account.

Now, I know that this could probably be fixed since we are talking about one and same person who wants to use this particular URL- but I can’t contact the WordPress team, because I don’t currently have an upgrade on my existing blogs. I would get an upgrade for the new blog, but how would they be able to verify that the person contacting them from that new WordPress account is in fact the same person who currently holds that URL – i.e. me.. See my puzzle?

If anyone has any ideas, I would be extremely grateful!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Account names can have a blog created with the account name in the URL

Domain names as I understand it can’t have an account created to match the URL of a blog

Just the rules – but since it is the blog URL that people see when they visit, it should not be a major handicap – just create a new account name that you like
