    I made the mistake of canceling my domaine with my account. Is there anyway I can get it back? My domaine is my personal name it is very special to me and I desperately want it back.

    Hi @chnia1, after canceling a domain you have a 5-days window to renew it at a regular price, after that it falls into a redemption period with an unknown length. If it’s in the redemption period then you can get it back but with an US$ 80,00 fee. See more about it here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#cancel-a-domain-name
    Since the domain chniakayla.com is hosted at WordPress.com, the staff might be able to help you with that.

    You are referring to chniakayla.com yes? If so I see that you purchased the WordPress.com Premium Plan on 3/29, and cancelled it on 3/30. Since your domain was included free with your plan it was also cancelled, and a full refund was processed.

    One thing I want to clarify is that you have two options, given how “new” your domain is.

    1. When you cancel a new domain like this, it does not go into redemption as @kleyhalisson mentions, but instead it’s returned to public sale. If you are willing to wait (the grace period is about 5 days) at the end of that period you can purchase it from any company that sells domains to the public
    2. If you can’t afford to wait 5 days to purchase your domain, you can purchase it here and we will return it to your account immediately. If you want to take this option let us know and we will prepare an invoice to send you to pay for the domain registration.
