  I just obtained my domain name from GoDaddy. I am trying to set up a blog for the first time and your process told me I cannot set up a blog using that domain name for 60 days now, is that correct? So I either have to wait for 60 days before setting up my blog or use a URL I already have to set up blog immediately? And can I easily change the URL to the URL I want to use in 60 days – in other words add it to the blog site or replace it with? I actually have a total of 3 domain names I want connected to the blog.

  Hi mnordskogverizonnet,

  When you buy a new blog from any domain registrar, you can’t transfer it anywhere else before 60 days.

  But don’t worry, there’s another option. You can simply map the domain you bought from GoDaddy to WordPress.com.
