Domainname what do visitors see?
-
Hi,
If I have a domainname for example http://www.thebestmeonline.nl and I want to Map my wordpress site: thebestmeonline.wordpress.com to that http://www.thebestmeonline.nl
I want to make sure that my visitors will not see thebestmeonline.wordpress.com where they typed http://www.thebestmeonline.nl before. Can you tell me what they will see at the place where they type the URL?
Will I still have the posibility to a subdomain or do I have to check with my host?
Thank you!

When you purchase a domain mapping upgrade to may from your .wordpress.com blog to an existing domain, the URL your visitors see is the domain URL, and not the underlying .wordpress.com URL of the blog you are mapping from to the domain.

To map a subdomain (for a domain with an existing website) to your WordPress.com blog see > http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/
