domainname.com pulls up site but Not Found, can't redirect it to Welcome

  Hi – My domain name maryjonesshow.com brings up the site but it says Not Found and I have to go to the page bar to get to additional pages, when I’d like it to go to the Welcome page. How can I reset maryjonesshow.com to bring up the Welcome page?

  That not found message is appearing because you have your front page set to show your most recent posts, but have not made a post yet. No problem though, just make even a test post (you can delete it later) and the “not found” message will go away.

  To set your front page to be the “welcome” page, log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard and go to Settings–>Reading. Then under “front page displays” click the “a static page” button and choose “welcome” from the drop down menu.
