Hello. I own the domain daquarlespto.org, when we created my wordpress website i was told for $18 dollars I could add it to my page, so when people typed it in they would see our page. When I tried to map this it says it costs 99 instead. Please tell me why.

Hi there, to register a new domain or map an existing domain, you will need an upgrade plan as individual upgrades are no longer available on WordPressdotcom. You can see those plans and what they include here:
Keep in mind that the Personal plan (~US$72) includes not only domain/mapping, but also direct support from WPcom Staff by email or live chat (instead of posting in the public forums), as well as keeping advertisements off your site. Hope that helps answer the question.
