    Hi, I have a domain registered with Moonfruit but would like to design a website with WordPress. I am planning to map the domain (as it is a .co.uk) but I would like to know the following please… if I go ahead and map the domain, can I delay when the site moves across to show the new wordpress site? Basically, I am worried that if I map the domain and it starts to show the new wordpress site which isn’t ready as I will need time to design it. There doesn’t seem to be an option of designing the site first, then mapping the domain when the site is ready?

    Yes. The domain won’t point to us until you edit the name servers to do so. You can set the domain mapping up when you are ready. It isn’t required at the time of purchase.

    You will build the site on your free address, then connect the mapping once ready.
