I wish to add a new domain and will upgrade to a paid plan, but I want ro see only my new chosen domain in the http address when oeople search, and NOT the words ‘wordpress’!
When I view my applucation for the new site, my propsed domain shows as xxxxx.com, but thrhttp adddress shows as xxxxx.com wordpress etc. Why?
I camnot commit to paying for a plan until I know whaty http address will br.
Help only on offer from wordpress once I’ve paid!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You should be able to create a free site and add a plan to it without committing to a domain.
If that’s not what you’re trying to do, or if you’re running into an error when doing it, please let us know.

I want the domain to be lavievintagefrance.comWhen I look at paid plans, that domain https address is showing as httpslavievintage100573105.wordpress.com
Why? i only want lavievintagefrance.com to be address that customers put into search.

Hi there,
lavievintage100573105.wordpress.com is just the internal address. If you register a custom domain like lavievintagefrance.com that address will be hidden and your site will be accessible from that custom domain.
