So is the domain charge separate from the annual charge? For example, the $5 plan, is that all I pay or is the domain charge added separately to that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
Except for the free plan, all WordPress.com plans include a custom domain free of charge for the first year. The Blogger plan includes a .blog domain free for the first year. The other plans allow different top level domains (TLD – the bit after the period like .com and .net).
See more about pricing and plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
After the first year, you will be charged a yearly fee for your domain. WordPress.com has a page listing their current yearly fees depending on the type of TLD. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/
Hope that helps!

@halounsbury, please note, the Blogger plan has been discontinued, and you won’t see it being shown on either the Pricing or the Plans pages.

Hello – Are you able to check who a domain is registered with and who “hosts” it.
I want to start from scratch and rebuild the website as it was done about 10 years ago and tools are so much better now? What do I need to do?
Thanks,
