Hi there,
You can, but that’s something you will need to set up at the domain provider where your domain is registered.
-
Thank you. I know how to redirect a domain name, but I’m wondering if there is anything that needs to happen on the wordpress.com end. If I don’t purchase mapping, what will users see on the address line? Are there other considerations?
-
If you simply forward the domain, instead of mapping it, your site may not function properly.
You can map a domain following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

thermac – Go to https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ and start a new support forum thread. Do not post in to other threads that were started by somebody else. I did look at your account and there aren’t any domains associated with it that were registered or linked to WordPress.com.
