  I already have a wix website which hosts my main website and domain. I would like to build landing pages in wordpress using my domain but with a subdirectory. For example: ‘mybrand.co.uk’ is my main domain on wix. And I want to building landing pages on wordpress using ‘mybrand/landingpage.co.uk’. Is this possible? And if so, I would like to build many landing pages which are unrelated to each other but would like each landing page to have ‘mybrand/secondlandingpage.co.uk’. Is this possible?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  You might be able to do this using the WordPress software but hosted elsewhere, so I’d recommend you reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:
