  Good day all, I am sure I am not the first wordpress newb to have this problem so here it is: I purchased two domain names through wordpress, problem is I had one open when I purchased the second one and now they are mapped to eachmother. I tried to make a new WordPress.com acct and “map a registered domain I already own” but could not because it is already mapped to the original acct. Is there anyway I can unmapped it, or do I need to scrap the first wordpress acct (nursesfavorite.com) and start from scratch, I already own the domains so I can scrap it and set up two separate accts and map in the domain addresses I already own to the appropriate blogs…right? I have tried to contact staff support directly and have recieved no response now X48hrs.

  Hi there!

  I currently see the domain nursesfavorite.com mapped to your WordPress.com site nursesfavorite.wordpress.com.

  It looks like you’ve canceled your second domain. It can take up to several weeks for the registrar to release a canceled domain.

  You can have more than one blog on your WordPress.com account. So you know for the future, you can transfer domains and other upgrades between blogs and between accounts.
