  I just recently registered a new domain with WordPress.com (theurbanconnect.net), however, I already have a blog (theurbanconnect.wordpress.com).. I want all the content from the wordpress.com domain to appear on the newly registered domain. I am confused about what happens from here on out and how to continue using the services you all provide if I just paid for a domain that will not be able to have the posts that I have already created on my previous domain, transferred to my new domain.

  Hi there!

  Your domain is automatically mapped to your WordPress.com site when it is purchased. Domain changes usually take several hours to fully take effect (and theoretically can take up to 72 hours).

  It currently looks like your WordPress.com site theurbanconnect.wordpress.com is currently redirecting to your domain theurbanconnect.net. And is displaying all of the content at theurbanconnect.wordpress.com.
