Domains and PayPal

  So, I bought a domain through WordPress about a year ago. Since I don’t have a credit card, I had to use a friend’s at the time, and promptly paid her back with no issue.

  Now it’s a year later, and it’s time for domain renewal, and I still don’t have a credit card, so it’s coming out of the same friend’s credit card. Which I will promptly pay back with no issue.

  It’s still a pain in the rectum.

  I understand WordPress.com does take PayPal, and I also understand that they do not do automatic renewal with PayPal. I don’t understand why, but I do understand that that is the case.

  I would love to have the payments come out of my PayPal account, but I’m worried about my domain lapsing. I don’t want any of my visitors to suddenly get a 404 error because of bad timing for whatever reason. The next payment taking too long or whatever.

  What exactly can I do? What are my options? How can I pay for my domain through PayPal without any chance of service interruption?
