domains and permalinks
-
If I have a wordpress.com blog and do some posts for it, then buy a domain – what happens to the post title permalinks? Do they remain ‘blogtitle.wordpress.com/date/etc’ or do they change to ‘blogtitle.com/date/etc’?
I’m trying to do a new blog (private for now, so I’d rather not give the URL of it til it’s public) but will probably want to buy a domain for it soon, but should I want to link internally to any posts I need to know about this. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Sometimes seeing is believing.

Okay – so the links just seamlessly transfer? Good, thanks.
What about on the actual post editor? Does it still show as ‘wordpress.com’? after getting the domain upgrade?
Sorry if I’m a bit clueless. I know a heck of a lot about WordPress.com but not much about some of the domain-y sort of stuff! :)
Thanks TiTi.

Ah, it’s okay, I’ve just read your reply to the first comment in your post linked here. I understand now. Thanks. :)
