Domains and price plans

  Hi, I was wondering about the difference between the personal and premium plan please.

  I own a domain registered elsewhere. On both pricing plans they offer custom domain name options and say: ‘Get a free custom domain name (example.com) with this plan to use for your website.’ but the only option appearing is the premium plan when I try and link to my domain.

  I’m confused, does the personal plan not offer the option of linking to a domain elsewhere? I wondered what custom domain name options this package offers?

  Custom domains are a feature of all paid plans, including the Personal plan. You can select it on this page:

  https://wordpress.com/plans/

  Then add the domain you would like to use :)

  I wondered what custom domain name options this package offers?

  Each plan includes a domain credit which can be used to register a new domain or ‘map’ one you already own.
