  I have a free blog reallyremeka.wordpress.com but I’ve recently purchased a domain name for a website Remekawashington.co.uk and id like to transfer the posts from my blog to my website. Is this possible? If so how do I go about it?

  Hey Remeka,

  Yes, it’s possible. You can export the content from your WordPress.com blog and import it to your new website.

  But as I can see, your new site is a self-hosted WordPress site, which means you need to go to Tools>>Import and then choose the file you export from WordPress.com.

  I tried what you suggested on my website; went to tools>import>install now>run importer but then it only allows me to import from my documents from my documents not my blog. What am i mean to do?
